LENEXA, Kan. – Local children struggling with abuse, got some extra help, thanks to those helping save the environment.
Computer repair company, J-Tek, held a recycling drive Saturday morning at the Commerce Bank in Lenexa.
This is in the 8700 block of Monrovia Street.
People paid a small fee to have old electronic items like computers, printers and VCR’s be recycled.
It cost between $10 and $25 depending on what people were getting rid of.
All of the money raised went to Kids TLC in Olathe.
